Formatting new HDD - is my settings below correct? (You Tube was talking about ExFat?!) - Mac Rumors

Hi All,

OK got new 2TB WD HDD - everything looks fine with physical box so far.

Getting a bit lost with how to format it. Looked on You Tube, some mixed advice, including formatting to ExFat?!

Is my settings below ok?

For just a Time machine drive - is "Apple Partition" better? Or better to stick with the "GUID Partition Map"??
