I am glad the three men were convicted in the Ahmaud Arbery trial in Georgia. But Arbery’s mother should talk about if they guy who injured the people in Wisconsin will get the death penalty. Why isn’t that a hate crime, just like what the three white guys did to Arbery? What would have happened if a white guy would have run through a Black parade and killed them people like that? This whole city would have been wrecked.

In Sunday’s Speak Out, RHS of Oak Forest said we don’t know much about the political leanings of John Catanzara except that he’s vehemently against Mayor Lightfoot and State’s Attorney Foxx. Catanzara is an upfront, out and out, in your face backer of Donald Trump. It wasn’t until after long period of public criticism that he finally spoke out against the treasonous insurrectionists that invaded our Capitol Jan. 6. This is especially egregious given his brother and sister officers were brutalized by that treasonous mob.

I know it’s the holiday season and people want to decorate, but please remember, too many egregious make your house look trashy. Tinley has several houses that have so much stuff and decorations that it looks bad. If you can’t see anything because everything is bunched up on top of each other, than you have too much. Less is more.

Did any of the haters who commented on Kyle Rittenhouse actually see the evidence? He did not carry a weapon across state lines, he could legally carry it, his father lives in Kenosha, he was protecting a business next to the car dealership that was burned out the night before, he was attacked by each of the people shot, one threatened to kill him, one pointed a gun at his head. Yes, thankfully, people are still allowed to protect themselves.

After reading the article in the Southtown regarding electrical fires from wiring, it’s good to know that most of the homes built around the Chicago area, the wires are installed in pipes due to the strong building codes.
