Huge week for our guy Tom Holland. Not only did he land on the cover of this very magazine and drop the latest villain-happy trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, the ever-likable Brit also put his well-honed fashion sense on full display by showing up to a fan event in California sporting one of our favorite affordable suits.
That's right: affordable! Perhaps you were under the impression that a megastar like Holland would only step out in the richest of rich-guy duds. But, as he proved in our latest episode of Shopping Spree, he's as down-to-earth and practical as can be—favoring $2 face masks, $7 British puddings, and as we've now learned, dashing sub-$1,000 suits from American menswear king Todd Snyder.
Clocking it at a highly respectable $876, Snyder's signature Madison suit is crafted in Italy in a supremely modern silhouette: flattering natural shoulders, classic patch pockets, perfectly pleated trousers. The version Holland wore featured an eye-popping brown-and-red check pattern, rendered in virgin Italian wool. Over a creamy sweater with some slick Chelsea boots and some timeless tortoiseshell glasses, Holland absolutely nailed the hot professor/hot shrink look that's sweeping the nation right now.
You might not have a red-hot Hollywood career or a superheroic exercise regimen, but you can absolutely still dress like you're headlining the next Marvel blockbuster. And if Holland's checked ensemble feels a little too bold or out there for your tastes, Todd Snyder makes plenty of other handsome Madison suits worthy of your consideration.
