Life is Strange: True Colors sees developer Deck Nine take the Life is Strange reins again from series creator Dontnod. Players take control of Alex Chen, a new resident of the idyllic mountain town of Haven Springs.

Alex has empathic abilities in Life is Strange: True Colors that affect her mood, but sometimes social interaction is unavoidable. During Chapter 1, she has to wait on a few tables for The Black Lantern bar owner, Jed Lucan. Checking in on Duckie and Diane is one of Alex's tasks, but it's not clear that players must memorize the order.

There will be a short dialogue option about Alex's opinion on Haven Springs so far. Choosing "Kinda Bizarre" or "Kinda Perfect" will play out two slightly different conversations with Diane. After the small talk, turn around and talk to Jed at the bar again.
