The failure of the Groton Democratic Town Committee to endorse Portia Bordelon for Town Council was an undeniable misstep.
As a former RTM member who served with Bordelon, I can speak firsthand about her tireless work ethic and commitment to our town. Sitting next to her at many meetings, I saw the meticulous notes she took and referenced in order to keep our highest paid town officials accountable. When Bordelon received an answer that did not address her question or concern, she would research, and follow up at the next meeting until she was given satisfactory answers. Her tenacity in advocating for Groton is admirable. Portia Bordelon has proven time and time again that she speaks for the Groton community and listens to her constituents.
Portia Bordelon has unequivocally earned my vote on September 14. Vote Row B.
